This Jamaica Blue Mountain® green coffee of Rume Sudan varietal is outstanding, with a cupping score of 93+ points. Rume Sudan is a presumably ancient variety of Arabica originally selected from wild trees in Sudan, close to the border with Ethiopia. This varietal is not widely cultivated commercially due to its low productivity; however, it presents stronger resistance to coffee berry disease over other Arabica strains. It is a rare coffee, even more, exceptional as Jamaica Blue Mountain.
Bright and deeply sweet with honey, tea rose aromas and notes of mango. Short finish and smooth body. An elegant cup not to miss on.
